Rod was raised on a farm outside of Great Falls, Montana. After attending Whitman College in Walla Walla, he gradutated from the University of Washington School of Music where he earned both performance and academic degrees. He has lived in the Puget Sound region since 1986, moving to Kitsap County in 1996. His interests include making music, sailing, tug-boating, gardening, and of course, Real Estate. Careful listening, attention to detail and quick responses are characteristics of good musicians, sailors, tugboaters, and Real Estate Professionals. He is in his seventh year as a full-time Realtor. Over the years, he has been fortunate to grow his clientele to the point that 96% of his business comes from repeat clients and personal referrals.
